One year later
I couldn't help it, but today i was reminded with what exactly happened last year, same date.
I was in he office, doing some work. I felt the urge to go to the toilet. Saw some show (blood stain) on my panty. Told my colleagues about it. Finished off my work by lunch. Cleaned up my table, prepared to be on 2 months maternity leave. And after lunch, i dragged the husband to Pantai Hospital.
There, i still didn't feel any pain whatsoever. Met an ex-colleague. Updating stories. Laugh, laugh, laugh. She was surprised seeing my condition. In labour but no pain. Admitted to ward. The doc didn't want to supress, but i hope everything will progress and over soon.
The husband left. Told the husband to standby and be prepared to come to the hospital anytime. Somehow the doc predicted i would deliver the next morning.
Was in the labour room the whole evening, reading book. And updating blog via phone because i was bored.
By 3-ish the pain got stronger. Called the husband to come. The Nurses called the doc to come. The waiting game was so stressful. Time felt so slow and so long.
Finally the doc came. And by one mighty push, she came into the world. I heard her cry, i held her in my arms, i saw her the first time.
Sawda, happy 1st birthday. You are one of the greatest thing ever happen to me.
Definitely my darling, my love, my life.
I love you infinitely!
